EXPANSION:

The present strength of beds of the hospital is not sufficient to meet the demand of Inpatients as evidenced by bed occupancy above 90% on most of the days. Expansion of the hospital by adding another 30 beds is proposed by the hospital. An adjacent site has already been acquired and construction of additional block is under progress. Thus by 2011, the hospital will have additional 30 beds with new ambience. New and Additional specialist and diagnostic services like interventional cardiology, C.T. Scan and MRI facilities are proposed to be started in due course; Kidney Transplantation facility is proposed to be introduced. Efforts are being made to start D.N.B Post graduation Medical Courses in Medicine and Surgery and family Medicines. The Hospital is already providing clinical training to B.Sc (Nursing) and Diploma Nursing Students of Nursing Colleges.We have also extended clinical training facility for International Medical students in the Ramaiah hospital campus.

Hospital plans to develop a 'Trauma Care Centre' due to its strategic location in the heart of the city. Most of the facilities required for this center round the clock are available at the hospital; more awareness of this facility will be created in due course of time.

The main philosophy of the hospital of providing Quality Healthcare at affordable cost to Common man will be continued incorporating Hi tech Advanced Medical Equipments from time to time to keep pace with Modern Scientific developments.
